Changelog

This page tracks public Blaze Puppeteer releases.

This release focuses on improving rig setup workflows, supporting saved custom rig presets, and improving compatibility with custom and stylized Blender rigs.

  • Added rig setup presets and preset management for Auto Rig Pro, Rigify, Mixamo, CloudRig, and Puppet Studio, including saved custom presets.
  • Added Chinese localization thanks to Brian Finch providing the translations.
  • Added an option to preserve existing animation outside the generated range, making it easier to extend motion with smoother inbetweened transitions.
  • Added a Keep Kimodo Warm control in Advanced settings, enabled by default, with model offloading when disabled.
  • Improved compatibility with custom and stylized rigs.

This release focuses on making generated motion easier to trust when applying it back to real Blender rigs.

  • Inbetweening now holds start, end, and selected body anchors more reliably.
  • Generated motion is grounded more consistently, with better foot contact cleanup and less sliding or hovering.
  • Root motion and trajectory matching are more dependable for paths, turns, and mixed prompt/constraint generation.
  • Applying motion to rig controllers is more robust across FK, IK, and root controllers.
  • Local Kimodo generation has better progress reporting and improved compatibility, including Apple Silicon Macs.
  • Height compensation can now be controlled for cases where preserving the original vertical offset matters.
  • Expired sign-in sessions no longer block the local Blender UI.
  • Timing and frame-range issues when applying generated clips and inbetweening have been corrected.
  • UI flickering in the presence of non-English characters is now fixed.
  • Retargeting is more reliable across different up axes and scales.
